Sent money from Ireland to India using UPI - most apps don’t facilitate this so it was great to be able to send money so easily and safely. The fact that you can just pay with ApplePay makes it all the more better. No hassle whatsoever and this international transfer was faster than a local Revolut transfer!!! Great job, Team💪
exchange rate
I’ve being sending money from Remitly nearly 6 months now and I didn’t have any issue . Recently I realise the exchange rate it not quite fair . I’m from Peru so I change Euros to Soles . The oficial exchange rate is 1 euro = 4.14 euros but in Remitly 1 euro = 3.98 and ABOVE that they charge 3 euros fee for the transaction . In small amount doesn’t really matter but we bigger amount is different , they were charging me extra 10 euro . Imagine how many people send money through the app , and Remitly being taking that little extra of all of us . They should’ve say they are the ones deciding which exchange rate they use and I would’ve be more careful in using the app.
This app is perfect!
I sent money to India from Ireland and it was absolutely seamless. It’s very well tailored for Indian users as it automatically allows for bank transfer or UPI. I previously had a hard time with other apps that are so unnecessarily complex to maneuver so kudos to the team for making this a delightful experience!
