Description

The ‘Rhythm’ app is a metronome that is designed for users of the textbook ‘Rhythm’ by Erik Højsgaard to aid you in your advanced studies.

The app has four features:
• A metronome for all exercises in the textbook that deal with irregular time signatures, metric modulations, irrational meter, polymeter etc. In the textbook these exercises are identified by a tiny metronome symbol in front of the tempo marking.
• A metronome that can be used for all other exercises.
• A section to train the correct tempo-identification, ‘Tap the pulse’
• A section to identify the correct tempo, ‘Guess the tempo’

The metronome has a precision of ±20 milliseconds.

The English and Danish version of the textbook is published by Aarhus University Press: unipress.dk and the Italian version is published by Volontè&Co: volontè.it.

What’s New

Version 1.0.5

- The app now shows an alert if Low Power Mode is turned on. Low Power Mode affects the precision of the metronome and should be turned off when using the app.
- Minor fixes.
