The Galaxy Watch application connects Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch3 to your mobile device. It also manages and monitors Gear S2 / Gear S3 / Gear Sport / Galaxy Watch / Galaxy Watch Active / Galaxy Watch Active2 / Galaxy Watch3 features and applications installed through Galaxy App Store. Use the Galaxy Watch application to set up and manage the following

Features:
- Connect to and disconnect from a mobile device
- Application download and settings
- Find my Watch
Install the Galaxy Watch application on your mobile device, then pair your Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2 or Galaxy Watch3 with a Bluetooth connection and enjoy all of its features.

* Compatibility
- Galaxy Watch is not compatible with iPad and iPod touch

* Settings and features provided by the Galaxy Watch application are only available when Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport and Galaxy Watch is connected to your mobile device. Features will not work properly without a proper connection between Gear S2 / Gear S3 / Gear Sport / Galaxy Watch / Galaxy Watch Active / Galaxy Watch Active2 / Galaxy Watch3 and your mobile device.
* This application is only for Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Galaxy Watch Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch3.
* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Won’t sync with IOS software

After raising a concern the team were extremely helpful and now my Samsung watch syncs with my iOS although it is necessary to have two apps . Thanks for everything . Minus one star because the graphs and visualisations are not as user friendly as Fitbit

Galaxy Watch with iPhone

Currently using with iPhone 7. Connectivity was easy and app provides system info like battery and memory status as well as access to new apps/faces for the watch. Bluetooth connectivity disconnects very occasionally but a simple reboot of the watch resolves that. Wouldn’t drop a star for it, small issue.
On battery life, using about 18-20% battery life per day. Tracking walks/swims and other regular watch functionality such as health etc.

App not working on iOS 13

Ever since I updated my Samsung galaxy watch to the latest software version the smart watch us stopped syncing with my iPhone 11 which is running the latest iOS (13.3). The Samsung galaxy watch app is already provides a limited experience and now it’s just gone the drain which is extremely frustrating for someone who loves the watch in the first place. I know Apple Watch is expensive and not as good as Samsung galaxy watch in terms of performance but at least the user experience is just brilliant. When will Samsung do some catchup with Apple?

Dear User, we are really sorry for the troubled experience you have been having. We request you reset your watch (WARNING: ALL YOUR GEAR DATA WILL BE ERASED) and uninstall and reinstall the Watch App and reconnect again.
Additionally, kindly go to phone's Settings. Scroll down to Galaxy Watch app and toggle on Background App Refresh.
