Description
Slay is a simple to learn game of strategy and cunning set in medieval times. The island is divided up between the six players, and you must try to capture your enemies' land and link up your own territories to create larger and stronger ones. You begin capturing land by attacking with your peasants. Once your territories become richer you can combine peasants to make stronger and stronger people (Spearmen, Knights and then Barons) who can kill weaker enemy troops, or knock down their castles. Just be careful that you don't create too many expensive men or the territory will go bankrupt!

See AllSimple, fun but repetitive
I remember playing this years ago on the pc. Very simple but quite fun. A nice way to waste a few minutes (or hours XD ). The rules are easy to understand and the controls and interface are fine. I don't think I would pay too much for this as it gets repetitive after a while though.
Latest update goes backwards
I’ve just downloaded the latest update. The new look is terrible. It has not improved what was a perfectly fine game to begin with. I do hope they revert back to the original look and feel. I was addicted, now I cannot stand to look at it!
Please give the option of having the OLD version!!
Slay is a simple, yet brilliant game to play. However, recent upgrades, adding unnecessary texture to the hexagons, make it more difficult to differentiate hexagons at a glance. Although the latest version does give us back the good old 'stick-men' like figures (thumbs-up Sean!), it still looks too complicated for what was a 100% perfect strategy game. I can appreciate that better graphics and textures are a must for most games on the market, but one of the key attributes Slay had was its overall simplicity. A modern day checkers, if you will. The key here now...the final piece to the jigsaw, is the new textures...they make it less enjoyable, rather than adding to the game. I hope another version comes out that gives an option to go back to the look and feel of the tried and tested version of years gone by. I've said it before, if it ain't broke......
