Ratings and Reviews
Way better that the S2 app!
Got really angry at the s2 app for taking ages to load anything, despite having a good wifi connection, so i decided to downgrade my ENTIRE system back down to s1 and i do not regret it! This app is so much better (and faster) that the s2 app. 1 thing i am missing though is dark mode, Sonos, your S2 app is garbage, please improve, or i’m staying on s1.
Do not install on older Ipad Caution Caution Caution
I downloaded this version onto my phone following receipt of an email saying I no longer needed a Sonas bridge in my system. On the phone it worked perfectly.i then downloaded it onto two Ipads both of which have always worked fine with Sonas. No warning from Sonas that the OS version on the IPAD was not supported when download was instigated instead it downloads and when opened dimply gives a message that it will not work. Result of emails to support is that there is no step back process so two perfectly serviceable IPads albeit running older operating system no longer can be used. At the very least Sonas should have warned not to upgrade and remove bridge
Sonos disimprovement
Not sure what is causing the problem but I’ve had a sonos system for more than ten years and had fewer ‘glitches’ in the early days than I’ve been having recently. I have speakers in six rooms and every now and one seems to randomly disappear and then reappear, (not always the same room). Sometimes lots of zones disappear, like now my phone app is only showing two zones but music is playing on another zone not showing up on the app. Are there explanations or solutions to these problems?
