Smooth & Simple
This is the first time I have ever thought highly enough of an app to take the time to review it. Using an old Mac mini and a second generation iPad I was expecting to have problems. It took less than two minutes to install the app on both devices and in under five minutes I had an account created and was logged into my desktop on my iPad. Simple to use and smooth as anything to use. Will definitely look at upgrading to the business version now that I know the entry level one is so good. Highly recommend this app :)
Excellent
Have been using logmein for a number of years for support for a local school, friends and family. As they have just changed the policy only allowing 10 pc's on the free account. This might be enough for many it's not for me....enter splashtop. Looked at this tried it on my ipad and pc as a test. Good connection and speed and when I tried to connect to my father in laws pc, well found that an in app purchase was required, not a huge cost and as it appears I will be able to reconnect all the pc's I had on logmein one I am more than happy to pay.
Functional
It works. What else can I say? I found it incredible given some of the problems I've had with networking in Windows that I just installed the software on my computer, put in a password, and then connected to the computer from my iPad. It's a bit slow, but when you consider what the iPad is doing, one can't fault it for that. This is a great app.
