I recommend swirl cards

I regularly use my swirl card and it’s perfect for going on holidays or when you don’t want to use your bank card. I feel so much safer travelling with my swirl card because I know that if it got stolen, my bank details are secure. This app is a quick and useful way of checking your balance and topping it up. I’ve never been to a shop that doesn’t accept them. The fees are quite high especially as a student without a constant flow of income. With every purchase, a €0.75 charge is taken from your balance. This is minuscule when added onto larger purchases but I often want to just buy a drink or bag of sweets for €1 and it ends up almost double the price. There are also some account maintenance fees. This price to pay is small for the convenience and safety provided by a swirl card so of course I still recommend getting one and this accompanying app.

I luv the card and I’m still at the learning process of learning everything about the card, the main reason I got it is that my sons can use for playstation internet and shopping on line but the only thing I don’t like about it is the charges and the more u put on the card the more the charges r, that’s a turn off for me cause it’s hard enough to have the money for them without charges and on top and now I’m getting told about the revolut cards and they don’t charge fees unless your in a country using different currency but it’s not an expensive charge so all this has me in 2 minds about it, the card is great but it’s just the charges that’s putting me off.
