This app literally has a meditation for everyone and everything. Sceptic? Plenty of fun ones for that too. Most of them are short, sweet and to the point (10 - 30 mins). I starts with the fun ones for a challenge in work and then forgot about it - til I hit a bout of insomnia combined with high stress and mild panic. Started back in the sleep section and kept going and use it daily. Their talks and topics are really interesting too! Bite size - easy to manage - realistic - fun - take your pick. No oooohm - no music. Little warning: some guided meditations for sleep have really long pauses. You may doze off and then get jolted out when the speaker starts up again. Don’t let that stop you though. Plenty of other ones to try.
While I’ve nothing against the hippy dippy approach to meditation, this app embraces everyone. It’s easy and user friendly. There’s a huge range of options without being overwhelming. You can choose to have a guided or silent meditation from as little as 1 minute long. The humour makes it even more pleasant! Overall it’s a great way to press pause on your day and I’ll be recommending it to my friends.
