The right balance

I have subscribed to many podcasts and The Week Unwrapped is one of the few that I don’t miss. Its the right balance of important current affairs but stories you won’t have heard in the day-to-day mundane regurgitation of news from other outlets. The presenters hit the mark in terms of being very well-informed, easy to listen to and are entertaining and witty.

A substantial disimprovement

The latest version of the app (July 2023) offers no clear improvement over the previous version, and functions much less effectively. Some pages now won’t open without going through the contents icon (even this is very inconsistent). While trying to read pages on an iPhone or iPad, the text initially appears below the title of each page, but on attempting to read it, it jumps to lie right of the title. Trying to read the text, it jumps around in position, and when scrolling to the right, it jumps to the next page. Please restore the previous version - whatever might have been its shortcomings, at least it was readable.

Funky app

Love the week, best condensed news app out there,

Since Brexit Jan 1st. every time I open it, it keeps trying to sell me a subscription, yet I already have one and get all my down loads with out issue. Tried and tried to explain this to customer service who just don’t get it.

Rest of functions and down loads just fine

Given I live on boarder with Northern Ireland I wonder is it Brexit related?
