Exquisite

I’ve had subscriptions for all the major music services out there, and let me tell you none of them come close to what tidal have to offer. They are streets ahead of there competitors. My B&O H95s thank you for offering such a wonderful service. ✌️

Depends on what you want.

I subscribed to Tidal for the CD and MQA quality streams for a home hifi system and the streaming quality is very good.
(Practically) every song you want is available. That was the good news.
Now the bad: Tidal’s playlists lean heavily towards American rap/hip hop. Great...if that’s your thing, but I’m not a fan of those genres and especially the lyrics. I cannot find a way to turn off genres or artists that are not to my taste. I find Apple Music playlists are very good for discovering new music/artists that are to my taste. Tidal’s are a joke.
An example: I just spent some time comparing Tidal’s Top 100 UK Playlist with the UK’s official Top 40. Ten (10) of Tidal’s top 20 weren’t in the official Top 20 - a hit rate of 50%. The artists that featured in Tidal’s chart (that weren’t in the official chart) were almost exclusively songs in the aforementioned genres so whether you like it or not, rap/hip hop is shoved in your face. You have to be constantly alert to what is playing especially if children are present.
Resulting from this policy, I’m giving serious consideration to subscribing to Qobuz instead, even though their playlists are nothing to write home about.

Great music app

Love it. The way it organizes your collection. The sound quality. The available music. I wish it was one Euro less a month. Then it would be perfect. Update: after years of trying every app/device/subscription possible I’ve concluded the, yes - the sound quality is fractionally better on tidal. Not sure exactly why but I’d describe it as being able to hear THE WOOD in the electric bass. Whatever frequency & tone is the files or technology tidal used is noticeably better in direct comparison. Weird.
Also the playlist implementation is fractionally better. & taste AI seems a little more mature
