Description
Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.
No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it.
Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

So relaxing and adorable
This is my all time favourite game, there’s no doubt about it! It’s easy to get the hang of and once you’re in the zone, you never want to stop. I love that you don’t have to be specific because the game does that for you; it builds roofs and arches etc. itself based on its placing. I also love that birds will fly around and land on rooftops after a while, which adds some liveliness. I do wish that it had little people following the same principle as the birds - where they’d start walking around and whatnot after some time. That would be my first suggestion for the game. I also wish you could place vast amounts of ground - to save time - instead of one by one. Other than those minor things, this is a really awesome game and well worth the price! 10/10 would recommend :))

Amazing game if you like building
I really love it, it’s cute and fun, my only gripe is the maps are smaller then on of, but otherwise it’s really good.
