Rachid was the perfect driver for my partner and our 20 month old baby who arrived on a late flight and were heading an hour southward. He was waiting for us on arrival and was warm, helpful, mannerly and very calm and patient. He ensured he brought us right to the door of our rental and made sure we could access the property. He helped with luggage on collection and drop-off and asked us if we wanted to stop for a refreshment and if the aircon in the car was comfortable for us. We felt very safe and happy on our journey with him. Rachid is a really lovely man. We will try to book him again if choosing an uber for our return journey to Seville. Thanks Rachid.
24 hour to contact driver for lost item

Uber is very bad and low quality on support that they literally dont support you at all.We have lost our phone in an Uber on our last day during our vacation and literally begged support for them to reach out to driver for 5 hours but they only replied with a standard text saying they will jump in after 24-hours if driver doesnt respond to Uber’s forwarded call.We had our flight in 15 hours, because of lost phone we couldn’t get documents for flight, almost everything got screwed on our last day because Uber has probably couple support personnel in all of their operations since nobody actually had time to react.When we were able reach out to driver through the forwarded call of Uber after 6-7 hours, he said he didnt pick-up forwarded call coming from Uber because it was an US number and he told us if we called him right away he would probably found the phone but unfortunately some other customer after us probably took it.Uber instead of calling the driver themselves right away for such an urgent case, they insist on waiting 24 hours because they dont have enough support people to support you when you need it. Because of that we couldnt get our phone back and had to re-schedule flight and arrange last part of our vacation. Please invest in your support to increase your service quality first before you invest in every single business you see out there.

Hi everyone I just want to let everybody know about a scam alert which I experienced today on the 2nd of September 2025 travelling from Estepona in the south of Spain to Malaga in the south of Spain this morning when I booked my taxi the driver upon pickup immediately put a notification on his phone saying we were not ast the chosen pick up point, however we absolutely were!!! But I thought nothing of it, the second difference I noticed straight away sadly was it was a bolt car that arrived. Once we had entered the car and he started driving he then asked me if I minded disclosing the price I paid to which I foolishly answered!!! Since don’t do this!!! He explained that Uber don’t give him the same value for a fair and that I would need to pay for tolls and it clearly said in the receipt that I paid for the toll!!! However I was spooked for our safety so after some two and fro regarding this I agreed to pay the toll. At this point I want you to pay attention to the notice I received before I entered the taxi( please review the first part of my review!!! He also stated at the beginning that the street I was going to in Malaga was closed and that he would drop me off a little before this so he could turn( while there was roadworks it was open to local access and taxi’s so I agreed 😳but this was my biggest mistake!! As I got to the hotel and spoke with reception about it I showed them that he never closed off the fair, it still showed him delivering us to the destination, we ll on my phone at least but here is the like, I cancelled the fair and because he had raised the issue at the start of our journey saying we were not at the pickup we were never in the cab so that meant when we cancelled the fair he got an extra 40 euro over and above along with tolls!!! Here is the terrible bit or dare I say it gets worse!!2when I reported this I got very good communication however I just see that Uber CS have deleted all communication and verification of our conversation relating to this matter…
Fine until it’s goes wrong

Pre ordered a taxi about 45mins in advance then it notified me it was actually on its way in 15mins. What on earth so it was going to be 30mins early. No good for me, I preordered for a reason. Don’t want to be collected early or be picked up late. The message part of the app appeared from the driver saying hi what’s the destination so I said I’ve it booked for a certain time it seems you are coming early.The booking stayed active till my real booking time arrived then on that time as I waited outside the app notified me that the taxi person had canceled the booking.So now I’m without a taxi and outside, I’d somewhere to be and now after me being super cautious pre booking a taxi I’m without one. Reordered a taxi to arrive ASAP and in 15mins one arrives. Ended up being late to the booked table at a restaurant No way at all to make a complaint to Uber about the flaw in their app or to mark down the taxi for the inconvenience and time wasted to me. There seems to be no visible proof on the app that the first taxi was canceled at the exact time it was meant to arrive. But I hear reviews that taxis can do that on users? And you get charged for canceling a taxi too close to its arrival. It’s a handy app but that event just left me waiting around when I pre booked and now I don’t really trust it to ever work as you want when you need it to.
