this app is so helpful! unlike duolingo where if you get a word right which in my opinion is really easy to guess, they still keep coming up and it takes a long time to advance further, this app teaches you complicated words the moment you start that you could really benefit from knowing and using it more or just to recognise the word, especially if you’re a junior cert student looking to improve your english. my teacher advised me to use more ambitious vocabulary and add more poetic techniques into my work and with this app i can definitely see my vocabulary building.
what happens is you get a word and some choices and a “i’m not sure” button. if you got it wrong, it tells you “you’ll see this word again” but if not “you won’t see this again for a while”. whether or not you got it wrong you get a simple and digestible definition and an example sentence of how to use this word. i think this app is great as there is different levels to unlock and more harder words. thanks so much for this app!

I always use this to study before my English exams start, helps me improve my english language skills and to find the exact words to flesh out feelings and thoughts
