WavePad Music and Audio Editor is a full-featured professional audio and music editor. With WavePad you can edit and record music, voice, and other audio recordings. You can edit audio files with tools like cut, copy, paste. You can also add audio effects including echo, amplify, and noise reduction.
WavePad Audio Editor supports a number of formats including vox, gsm, and more! Whether you are a professional or an at-home enthusiast, WavePad has all of the tools you need to edit audio files. Typical applications include ringtones, voice-overs, trim sound bits, and many more!
WavePad features:

WavePad contains optional in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly while purchases are one time payments (these are not subscriptions)
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period,
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and cost depends on your chosen package
• Payments will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

Comprehensive, powerful and easy to use
I haven’t spent ages using WavePad yet, but I am super impressed with the range of functions and the simplicity of the controls. I was immediately able to achieve what I wanted to do (manipulate, crop, clean-up and export a sound file) and I was both surprised and excited by the scope and variety of other tools, samples and effects that I found while exploring the app.
I’ve played with both Steinberg Cubase and Adobe Audition and the WavePad GUI is similarly intuitive and clean. Outstanding value for the one-off lifetime purchase option, thanks!
Needs an update!
While this app offers excellent user friendly audio editing the final product is frozen in-app I am unable to export my files as offered by email. I hope an update is imminent.
Full-featured audio editor with dated interface and very low input gain
Really like most of the features of this ios audio waveform editor, including the multiple built-in effects and export/share options. But, disappointingly, the input volume is terrible (a fraction of the auto gain of other similar apps) and, despite setting the gain option multiple times, I still get very low volume recordings, so that when I normalize the file I’m only boosting the background noise as well. A number of other ios waveform editors I’ve tried, with the precise same mic and interface, produce much more robust signals so the issue is clearly not a limitation of the ipad or ios. With this puzzling omission corrected, this would be by far by best waveform editor on ios.As it stands, however, the extra fiddling around to boost and then clean up the audio just adds too many more unnecessary steps for me. Guess it’s back to Lexis Audio Editor for now (another app with some puzzling omissions and a VERY dated interface).
