Zapmap gives you the widest range of options, allowing you to find charging that is right for you. You can also see the current status of each location so you know which chargers are available.

What’s New
Version 7.7.3
We’re no longer accepting submissions for Zap-Home and Zap-Work locations or location suggestions so we’ve removed the forms from the settings menu. We’ve also fixed a bug where the Check-in form shows the error ‘Invalid comment’ when attempting to upload photos.

Awesome App
This app is absolutely awesome for travelling in UK and the ability to update status via users makes it invaluable. I travelled from Ireland and used it and being able to see all the chargers available and their status really helped get around. Will use it back in Ireland to update charger status.
this used to have a point not any more sadly
Not really sure what the point of Zap Map is any more since Waze and Google Maps have real time EV charging status and status. 'Zap Pay' and 'Payment Cards' in the app is confusing and misleading. Seems like nowhere accepts Zap Pay and you can't get a physical zap card so it's no better than just using contactless where you can find it. I paid for a subscription to the zap map and I'm really not sure what the point of it was - I have had more luck with map filters and paying by app with the manufacturer's app (chargeMyHyundai)

Paying by Zap-Pay offers a single, simple way to pay at chargers operated by participating networks, low preauthorisations, and full VAT receipts for charging. Our optional Zapmap Premium subscription offers additional ways to find chargers, as well as in-car support via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and discounted rates when paying via Zap-Pay. Zap app
App is quirky. It’s too easy to cancel an entire route plan by accident. It’s easier if you know your route to drop the pin on the map than have the map search for it.
Took two goes to create an account. First attempt never sent a confirmation email.
Customer service was excellent. Quick to respond.
