Aim. Launch. Destroy!

You don’t need years of experience slinging arrows down your local to enjoy Darts of Fury.

Instead, the game’s simple swipe-to-throw action lets anyone toss darts accurately enough to hold their own while stood at the virtual oche. But nailing bull’s-eyes and triple 20s? That takes practice.

Once you’ve honed your precision, Pro Training mode is a great way to kick it up a notch. This intense time trial gives you just two minutes to hit the double beds on all 20 numbers in order (that is, double 1, then double 2 and onward).

To pass our challenge, however, you’ll have to step up your game and finish Pro Training in one minute seven seconds or less, like we did in the video above. Need a helping hand? Follow these quick tips to sharpen your skills:

Place your shot

Take advantage of the fact that you can throw a dart from anywhere on the screen. You’re better off holding your dart an inch or two below where you’re aiming and flicking lightly than you are holding it farther away and flicking harder. This’ll give you a smaller margin of error – and won’t tire out your finger.

Line ’em up

When trying to land doubles along the sides of the board (like 11, 6, and adjoining numbers), launch your dart from directly below your target and aim for the centre of the rectangle. That way, if you over- or undershoot, you’ll still land somewhere in the double bed.

Keep it steady

Resist the urge to spam the board with a rapid-fire barrage, hoping a lucky missile will hit your target. Instead, maintain a quick but controlled pace, flinging each dart deliberately. It’s all about finesse!
