Why is it great? This 10-episode series sends a chill down your spine once you realise main character Holden’s deep dive on psychological profiling is based on real events. On top of that, every single acting performance is literally killer. If you want to know what we mean, just pay close attention to Holden’s facial expressions or the show-stealing Edmund.

The one that’s a cultural phenomenon: RuPaul’s Drag Race

What’s it about?
This elimination-style reality contest by celebrity drag queen RuPaul has fabulous cast dance, act, sew, write, model and lipsync their way to the very top.

Why is it great? “Drag Race“ is a cult-hit and phenomenon all over the world, and not just within the LGBTQ+ community. Among the reasons for the show’s success are the inspiring performances by participating queens. Plus it’s also one of the most GIFable shows ever created. Be ready for some new internet memes (#missvanjie) with every single episode.

The one that will become your best friend: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

What’s it about?
Part romantic comedy, part satirical musical, this show revolves around a whip-smart lawyer who abandons her NYC life to chase the Californian guy who dumped her ages ago.

Why is it great? Its musical performances span a range of genres and will be stuck in your head forever. And writer and actress Rachel Bloom has achieved something unique: Her show is one the best depictions of a twenty-something struggling with mental health issues. Watching it feels like a warm hug reminding you that you’re not alone.

The one that will surprise you: American Vandal

What’s it about?
In the aftermath of a high-school prank that left more than twenty cars vandalised, follow top suspect Dylan and filmmaker Peter try to uncover what really happened.

Why is it great? Because you'll be diving in with certain expectations about how this true crime satire will play out over its eight episodes, and then the series turns all that on its head. Between high school clichés and its investigative whodunnit plot, you’ll find yourself watching this one as fast as possible – up until an unexpected end.
