Ferly: Couples Sex Therapy

Sexual Desire in Relationships

View

Ferly is an authoritative audio guide that is focused on eliminating taboos and shame around the female body. Through podcasts and guided meditations, it wants women to feel more confident in their sexuality.

The tone is everything: Ferly’s interface features stylish, collage-style illustrations – there’s nothing graphic, cartoonish or playground here – and the voice is direct, not euphemistic or squirming.

Start by answering a quick questionnaire of nine questions, focused on pleasure, confidence, your body, your relationship and your approach to intimacy. These will generate a personalised report, and suggests tips for feeling more connected to your mind and body.

Ferly encourages women to feel more in tune with their bodies.

Tap the Today tab, and you’ll pull up community features such as polls, as well as a flashing cursor where you can enter your own daily reflection and a short audio clip that changes daily.

In the Discover tab, you’ll find a personalised selection of longer podcasts, and guided, sensual meditations that range in time from five to 30 minutes. In the Programmes tab, you’ll find structured six-week plans on topics including intimacy, self-care and desire.

Keep track of your progress by noting sessions completed and recording reflections on your programme. You can also send feedback about the app straight to Ferly: just tap the box to start typing.

Curious? If so, you can create an account (no need to use your name, if preferred) and explore Ferly’s world in more detail.
