If you want WiFi with your Air Conditioner don’t take Electra
I have purchased Electra with WiFi and this application is just so bad that even the technician was not able to connect the Air conditioner to my network. I have lot of devices other then Electra that I was able to connect within few minutes to my smart home but this is so bad. Electra will not be my next choice for sure !
After fixing the Wi-Fi connectivity it works as expected!
In my case, I had issues connecting to my Wi-Fi, I’ve disabled something called “Smart connect” and added the MAC address in the “Roaming” block list on my Asus Mesh and the issue was resolved.
Buggy and unresponsive
The app is constantly reverting to the previous AC state although I’m trying to change it (i.e changing fan speed to automatic via the app isn’t synced to the AC and then the app is reverted back to High).
Same goes with power off and on, switch to heating, etc.
No support for Google home or Alexa…
Even the Chinese 3rd party AC apps can already do it better then the native Electra one.
