Having an app means you can use it instead of the remote. However, if you change the temp and quickly move on toSomething else,Like WhatsApp and simple lock the device, the actual command might not work. Unlike the remote, the command takes a few seconds to get acknowledged, and it’s painfully slow. Also, there is no “shortcuts” integration, so you can’t tell Siri to turn your aircon on, off and obviously not set a temperature. So you get a non native app, which is working very slowly and ask yourself, why not just use the remote?!

I have purchased Electra with WiFi and this application is just so bad that even the technician was not able to connect the Air conditioner to my network. I have lot of devices other then Electra that I was able to connect within few minutes to my smart home but this is so bad. Electra will not be my next choice for sure !

I don’t know why the low score. The app has all the control you need in the A/C, easy to setup and to manage, even has an option to share devices with other people (so you can share the setup with your family). I didn’t notice any bugs, working flawless.

In my case, I had issues connecting to my Wi-Fi, I’ve disabled something called “Smart connect” and added the MAC address in the “Roaming” block list on my Asus Mesh and the issue was resolved.
