You can manage your subscription at any time and turn off auto-renewal by going to your iTunes Account Settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a 10-Minute English subscription.

Most likely you have signed up for a trial period. The condition for activating a free trial period is the activation of a paid subscription. The terms of the subscription explicitly state that the first 7 days are free, but you will be charged at the end of the trial period. The application subscription can be canceled before the end of the trial period, but no later than 24 hours before the end of the trial period. If you cancel your subscription before the end of the free trial period, no money will be charged.
If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of the free trial period, the funds will be automatically debited.
