One of the best editing app in the world
The only thing missing now is the ability to make it "talk" with Adobe after affects. well...you can use motion but motion is one of the most unfrendliy apps out there.
t's sItill missing a few things, but it's a good buy
There is a lot to say about missing elements in FCP - among them is the problem with importing old projects or using multicam.
Now, if these things are a must for you, wait a few months and buy FCP X in version 10.1 or 10.2
Now, these debates over the new version are always there. remember freehand? people still wont let it die.
It's always hard to realearn things, but agter sitting with the Ripple Tutorials I have to say, many of the things people say are missing just moved.
Bottom line? Pro users should wait, new users who are looking for a powerful tool, youtuber who wants something better then iMovie, new media people who need a new, powerful fast and fun tool to use should get this.

i’ve been using fcpx from the day it came out.
It was a disaster for the first year but improved dramaticaly.
Now, with this update, the amount of UI bugs is just mind boggling.
What the hell did you do to it?!?!
Do you understand that proffesional people actually depend on it?
