The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. Now you can check your glucose by scanning your sensor with your phone or use FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors to receive alarms when your glucose is low or high. [1] [2]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history
* Receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors [2]
* See reports, such as Time in Target and Daily Patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission

Alarms can only be issued on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with your reader. Once the sensor has been started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your phone.

Remember that the app and reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, scan your sensor every eight hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices on LibreView.com.

[1] If you are using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system, as the app does not provide one.

Open to scan feature

I would like to suggest a feature that will allow to scan when opening the app, not as now when you open the app and click to scan.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the note - we will look in to this.

the app became very slow

After updating to the last OS version, slowness disappeared - fixing the rating.

After update, the app became very slow, scan button is not responsive long after app is opened. And, when it responds it is expecting to few scans as the button was pressed few times by then... Previous version was better

Developer Response ,

Thank you - we are glad to hear you are enjoying the app!

Great app

Works very well! No more reader device required and more functionality such as a1c calculator that I didn’t have on my reader! With all that additional screen space I would suggest adding a multi day graph (3 days) for better comparison.

Developer Response ,

Thanks! We're glad to hear you find the app useful.
