Everything costs money
You can only do 2 thing for free and for all the others you need to buy premium. Sure, you can do the free trial, but it’s only 3 days and then it’s like more the 25 cents per day, and it’s not even that good. Also there are ads all the time.

What's the point making an app "free to download" if everything inside the app needs membership?...

We also offer a 3-days free trial in which you can use all the premium features. So, you can subscribe to the free version then if you like it you can continue. Besides, you can cancel the subscription anytime at least a day before the subscription period ends.
