I have all my photos as of 2000 until today, 1000s of pictures and videos. Easy search which results with excellent results. Perfect sharing of link to photos instead of sending the photos themselves. Saves memory space. Simple clearing of iPhone photos and backups. One click creation of videos and animation from photos. Simple share across different platforms such as Windows and iOS.

I truly admire the work google does for me, as I am an old pensioner, that finds dealing with such things like photos and docs, hard to deal with, and at my age and the speed technology is pacing, I sure appreciate and thank google, for helping me “ to even half way “ keep up with the Jones’s!! Hahaha Thank u again and again, No word more to express my pleasure , with the wonderful work that’s done by Google workers, to make us feel good 👍🏼🙏🤗

I love it! Backs up my photos and videos, basic editing included, and I love the AI that creates animations, panoramas and great movies, I would like very much to know how they achieved that.Some features are missing though to make it perfect 5 stars:1. Manual creation of panoramas2. Integration with Google Clips during manual movie creation (like with Snapseed)3. Adding music from google drive to movies (while respecting legal rights)4. Better editing of collages5. Ability to select high quality/original per item6. Ability to change/update an already backed up item (like when I edited it on my phone but the copy on Photos is still the original)Etc. ;)Definitely recommended for all users!
Long-time user, but recent updates ruined the experience

I have been using Google Photos for many years, and it used to be my go-to photo app. Unfortunately, recent updates have significantly degraded the user experience.Several major issues need immediate fixing: No batch downloads: It is no longer possible to download a group of selected photos to the device easily. AirDrop duplication glitch: When transferring photos via AirDrop (across iPhone/iOS), every single image gets duplicated into 6 identical copies. Missing sorting options: The ability to sort albums by date in reverse order (newest to oldest) has completely disappeared. Worse usability: The overall interface and flow have become noticeably clunky, unintuitive, and frustrating to use daily.It’s disappointing to see an app that worked so reliably for years take such a step backward. Please bring back the missing features and fix these bugs.
