Grofit is a cost-effective sensor and software system for precision farming. Grofit goal is to optimize growers' performance in smart farms. Grofit: addressing field owners' needs and beyond.
Grofit system is based on a sturdy, small, mobile, easy to install, battery-operated, easy to use, smart, and affordable IoT sensor device which collects up to 7 measured environmental parameters (temperature and humidity from air and soil, irradiation, water tension, and conductivity in the soil along with the GPS coordinates).
Grofit devices send data through Bluetooth low energy technology to continuously evolving algorithms ruled by machine learning. Grofit base station communicates wirelessly with up to 5 Grofit devices sending data to the cloud using LTE Cat-M1 cellular communication

The service follows on the performance of multiple plots in real-time at different sites at the same time
The service can detect problems, such as irrigation or temperature problems before they occur and forward the right message to the relevant people on the growing areas
