Word select
Fantastic app so far! X almost never disappoints. There’s a slight inconvenience in the inability to select a specific word or link, select only works to highlight the entire section first, then you can crop the highlighted area to your specification. It’s a small thing but can improve the user experience immensely!
Great but could be better
The base model is as good as or better any other base model on earth like gpt plus but still gpt pro deep seek is a lot better than deepsearch because it reasons as it goes and thinks deeply, also gpt o1 pro I think is better than think model atm 21 feb 2025
I like than the deepsearch approach of going through lots and lots of sources unlike gpt. But still it should reason a lot more and use more compute to actually achieve supremacy over gpt. Now it’s just giving o3 level general answers and is really not helpful when you want to be creative and understand if the info is actually true and how to find it.
If you can improve the reasoning mode and make it use a lot more compute then it would be a good improvement, but till then it’s on par with gpt
Voice recognition & memory needs work!
It tries forcefully to connect unrelated things on the same chat.
The voice recognition is bad, it miss hearing me quite a lot, and sometimes even thinks I speak completely different language.
Search and general knowledge is sometimes lacking/wrong, like if I ask what is the first song of a band it might give me their first famous song.
Apart from those issues ill compliment it on it’s think mode, it is a lot smarter compared to the competitors.
Also it’s lack of wokeness, censorship (which is tuned to the right amount), is great.
I can’t have conversations at all with ChatGPT about nuanced topics (not asking him to take a stance).
Both things are very important to me, hence the 4 stars.
Once the other issues are fixed I will raise it to 5.
