Honeywell never seems to finish a job untill the end. The same goes to HFRVSM, but it is absolutely better that not having a solution! However, it contains only the most basic functions of a remote software: connect, search (real basic), PTZ and snapshot. In addition, Honeywell seems to employ some graphic designers stuck in the 70’s or 80’s. The UI is really bad (and this is an understatement), try to learn from apple maybe? Also, many options available in its PC based brother are lacking. We paid premium money for an HRDP or a Fusion, I believe we deserve better treatment from the company.
But again, something that kind of works, is better than nothing. Now, that we can see our cameras on a mac, are we also to expect an FVMS migration as well? or is this too much to ask for? If you don’t know how to bake software in-house, there is no shame in out-sourcing.
