Finally found the solution right for me!!

I was looking for something to curtail my social media use and ScreenZen had everything I wanted and honestly more. You can block apps AND websites, and knowing me - I can even lock settings so I can’t disable the lock timer. Honestly the settings are a tiny bit confusing (which is good, I’m too lazy to figure out how to unblock anything when I want to 😅) but they give you options of stuff to do instead of checking Instagram for the 10th time like deep breathing, math problems or exercise. It is SUCH a good app!

This app is amazing. This single-handedly changed all of my habits when apps like screen time couldn’t . Sometimes the root of all addictions is not being aware, and by only making you wait before you open the app with time to think about it and gain awareness of what you’re doing , asking yourself if you really need it, is everything. Thanks for keeping the app free! The *only* thing I’d have to suggest is adding a costume option to the sentence it asks you when you choose to either unlock or exit the app , but I love it overall.

Loyal app, the inconvenience of having to wait in order to open addicting apps, usually out of habit, really decreases the amount of time using them.
