How to Access Cinema Soundbar and Fives, Sevens, and Nines Virtual Remote Capabilities:

Cinema 1200, 800, and 700
Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the soundbar be running the latest update. This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.

The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions
Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

Finally! EQ for the fives

In a big late (if I’m not wrong they’ve promised it two years ago) - there is an Equalizer support for The Fives :) Firmware upgrade is really complicated and scary. The app is laggy and most of the time gets stuck for a long time in “Getting Latest Data” (10 seconds). Icons are also really confusing. The “night mode” (bass-cut) feature is awesome!

To be honest it’s disappointing but better than nothing, the night mode is not 100% muting the bass so still need to go in EQ and minus bass to -10
and dynamic bass is perfect
But Missing “Stereo effect” (button?)
It’s just funny how the speakers are so good and using the app feels like a 13 year old built it , slow, laggy, crash if you minimize and try open immediately , few seconds of delay.
Missing volume manual adjustment (for example skip from -38 to -41 can’t manual chose -39.5)
No wifi , only Bluetooth
Controllers for EQ should be on main panel

It looks like we cannot communicate with your Fives.

If the speakers had wifi they would have been perfect but for now I’m stuck with Bluetooth in 2022
