Description

The Microsoft Family Safety app helps empower you and your family to create healthy habits and protect the ones you love. Get peace of mind that your family is staying a little safer while giving your kids independence.

Create a safe space for your kids to explore online. Set healthy boundaries to block inappropriate content and limit browsing to kid-friendly websites using Microsoft Edge on Windows, Xbox and Android. Get notified when your kids want to download a more mature app or game from the Microsoft Store with age limits, keeping you in the know and helping to avoid surprises.

Develop healthy digital habits and provide transparency into your family's activities. View your kids’ weekly activity to help start a conversation about online behaviour. Set device time limits across Xbox and Windows. Or if your kids will be on devices longer for things like online learning, set time limits on specific apps or games on Xbox, Windows or Android.

Child payments is awful

Going through a payment process with xbox family , is in fact the most frustrating experience ever.
1) I cant pay on behalf of my kid.
2) I can’t add the precise amount for spending as long as the amount doesn’t divide by 25.
3) adding a payment method to his account is not sufficient, because the payment doesn’t work and I keep on getting the error “oops” message
4) the only way to make it work is to add a payment method, and turn off the “ask for payment” option, which is the worst way to do, I bet Microsoft will not take responsibility for spending frenzy of my kid.
5) Therefore , I’ll have to turn the “ask to buy” option on and off each time he wants to buy something.

And OMG, the amount of ooops messages is just unbelievable

No option to pay or get any support for the products

I tried 2 different credit cards that work on any other site. It didn’t work.
You send us to support, but there is no one there… only silly Q&A.
Not the first time I am reaching for support for your products. You just don’t have any.
If have an option to go to other suppliers, just do so.
