Moovit: Public Transport Live 4+

Stable and useful app

I use this app in my regular basis, everyday going work or college, and returning home, going out with friends or just anytime using public transportation. This app is truly amazing and provides clean, fast responses for the timing using useful filters and everything you need beside money to travel anywhere. The only thing I would love to add as a feature is custom option for travel, sometimes the app suggests walking while an additional bus would make it easier, so most of the times I have to reach a middle destination and open a new route with the filter “least walking”, if there was an option to add a custom route for my personal preferences, it would be excellent.

Ads ,internet, battery usage.

Absolute adware. Its become apparently clear that no one is buying moveit plus. And the creators have resulted to an infestation of ads on the app. Its not as if the ads are at least somewhat well optimized to not be as annoying as possible, but quite the opposite. They apear every second. Every open. Every search. And they interrupt any time I'm trying to see if i should get off at a station and have to use it at a moments notice.
Aswell as the app used unoptimized internet usage. For gods sake. I can load a 4k video while moveit cant even load a map with a few gps locations of publicly available information. Aswell as it prioritizes ads over functionality of the actual app. Deplorable.
Finally. I dont know if moveit devs do it on purpose or they only hire HIT grads. But the app uses like an insane amout of battery. This isnt an x86 cpu guys. Im not wired to the wall. This is a mobile device using batteries. I would like to use my phone for more than 2 hours while using move it.
Finally. I dont know how youd fix this. But this is clearly a UI issue. Because there are multiple lines going to the same destination. But they dont all take the same rout. Some take significantly more time to get from point A to point B therefore id like to know individually where each line goes and the rout. Dont just throw them all in the same group.

Absolutely awful app

The Moovit app is FULL of ads, some appear on part of the screen, and some take up the whole screen and require you to wait until you can skip the ad... on a public transit app that you use for information at a second's notice.... They added an option to remove the ads, but if you pay for it, they only remove SOME of the ads. Besides that, the app has EXTREME performance issues, like horrible load times when you first open the app (and again, when you need information at a second's notice), usually requires you to wait around half a minute (or more) for you to be able to press anything. The performance issues continue throughout your usual use of the app - when wanting to choose a new destination, or switch between your source location and destination, and in many more cases. Lastly, sometimes the app gives incorrect arrival times, or just doesn't give at all for some reason, or thinks you're in a completely different location, or it can't determine your location, or many more other embrassing performance issues. Overall, just a horrible app, its only good side is the GUI.
