Speed-read websites, ebooks and documents. Outread improves reading effectiveness by helping you to focus on reading small chunks of text at a time. You can either follow the highlighter along the page or keep the text centered.

BASIC FEATURES:
- Speed read by following the highlighter along the page (Highlighting Mode) or by keeping the focused phrase in the center of the screen (Flashing Mode - Rapid Serial Visual Presentation)
- Exercise to improve your peripheral vision, eidetic memory, short-term memory and chunking ability.
- Add webpages from Safari or other apps using share extension
- Paste text or add from a URL
- Sync your library, preferences and reading stats between your devices
- Adjust the reading speed and chunk length (length of text you read at once)
- Selection of fonts to suit all reading conditions

- Added “Paste” button in the “+” menu that automatically detects content in your clipboard and adds it to your Library.
- Added “Fast Font” that shows a first part of a word in bold, improving text readability.
- Added a new web import engine that now handles more elements, such as code, tables, videos, numbered lists, and more.
- Added preference for line spacing.
- Added preference for line width (side margins).
- Added preference for text alignment.
- Added support for internal links in imported ePubs.
- Added showing the article’s/book’s authors when available.
- Added showing SVG images in the content.
- Added support for adding files by dropping them on the library list.
- Added a Go Back button that appears after large moves through content, such as changing chapters.
- Added importing chapter markers from PDF files.
- Added importing files in the background, so that you can still use the app while a file is processing.
- Added a completely rewritten “Resolve Display Issues” option in the three dots menu on the reader screen, allowing you to instruct Outread what parts of websites should be imported.
- Refreshed the look of the reader screen’s header.
- Made import started from the share extension faster.
- Unified reading progress indicators across the app.
- Improved content import: when you add a link that is a file, the app will download and import it automatically.
- Improved text extraction from PDF files.
- Improved Read Now functionality on the share extension.
- Adjusted the Contact Support option to work with the user-selected default email app.
- Improved the share extension, now it also works correctly for PDFs and other files.
- Changed the behavior on the content list: tapping on a chapter will immediately go to it, tapping on the right arrow will expand the chapter’s contents.
- Fixed fetching content from websites that require JavaScript.
- Please note that items added to version 2.3 and up won’t sync to version 2.2.x and below.
- Fixed various minor bugs.
