Description
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.

Video playback turns into a black screen - bug
The app is great and I love it.
There’s just one persistent problem.
I like to sometimes leave the video (which I play from my local files, or from my thumbdrive specifically) playing in the background.
The problem is that if the playback spends too mich time in the background, if I return to the VLC app later on, I don’t see the video anymore. Just the audio and the black screen.
I found no way to reach out to the developers and report it so I’m posting it here.
If you are seeing this, please fix it.
A severe bug - starting iOS 16
The App is not usable anymore.
Starting iOS 16, when deleting a video file its not being deleted it just move to the system data of iOS. Since the system data of iOS can’t be access by the user and can’t be deleted this, over time, makes the system data size enormous and makes the device (iPad/iPhone) not usable. The only solution to solve that is by rebooting the device.
This app can’t be used until you will solved this well known bug.
I have a problem
Im using this app on my iPhone for almost 3 years.
Since last week theres a lot of vids i cant open. It sows me a black screen like its loading the video but nothing happens. Time marks looks like --:--
