Hi,I would love to have a shortcut button on the main map screen, so I’ll be able to pre define it for any event on the road, like a warning or something else out of the events options. This way i will be able to quickly and safely report common events. Today I’m putting myself at risk doing multiple actions to report an event, while driving or not reporting I the event at all due to the complicated actions i need to take.

I love Waze but there are several issues that need to be repaired. I have a saved address list of about twenty destinations in alphabetical order. About once a month this list becomes corrupted. The address remain intact but their order of display become random. I contacted Waze several times. They are aware of this issue but haven’t fixed it. Bluetooth once worked fine on my car with Waze, Now I can only use the phone speaker, apparently Waze stopped supporting older car Bluetooth system in one of their updates. I contacted Waze but again they didn’t fix this bug. I also suggest that you constantly use their map on your phone because many times the voice message will come unfortunately after a turn or exit you should have taken. I still find Waze to be the best in the market and will continue using it till there is another app with out all these bugs. Still it’s a pity that Waze doesn’t repair this issues & bugs.

While Waze used to be a reliable app that stays up to date with crashes, road closures, construction, etc., today Waze is not reliable. In Tel Aviv, Waze consistently routes me down one way streets in the wrong direction (Bugrashov st.) and down bus lanes (Allenby st.). The construction on Bugrahsov for instance was complete about a year ago so there is no excuse. In one occurrence Waze refused to find a route that wasn’t a bus lane route and I accidentally got on that road and received a 100$ fine. While that is my fault for not noticing, it is very disappointing that Waze can’t stay up to date with the biggest city in the company’s origin country. To clarify I have checked multiple times that my vehicle is “private” in the setting menu. In addition Waze causes some sort of audio disturbance in Apple CarPlay. Every time after there is an alert, music audio is muted or only played through certain speakers. This issue does not happen in other apps after an alert.

I've been using the Waze app for some time now and it's becoming increasingly clear that the app is in desperate need of a user interface (UI) revamp. Despite its popularity and massive user base, the UI feels archaic, seemingly stuck in the era of the early 2000s.From the moment you open the app, it's evident that the design aesthetics are out of touch with contemporary standards. In an age where minimalism and intuitive design govern successful apps, Waze's cluttered interface is not only visually unappealing but also significantly impacts its usability. The confusion caused by the dated UI can lead to missed turns and unnecessary stress while driving. Vital information is often obscured by overwhelming amounts of on-screen elements, and what should be a seamless experience instead feels like an exercise in deciphering cryptic maps.Furthermore, the lack of customization options only exacerbates the issue. There is a glaring disconnect between the needs of a modern-day user and the offerings of Waze's interface, with no easy way to personalize the experience to make it more manageable.In conclusion, while Waze's crowdsourced traffic and navigation features are commendable, the terrible UI design severely detracts from what could be a standout navigation app. I hope to see an interface redesign soon to bring the app back in line with user expectations in 2023.
