Excellent app for great photography site
I am using 500px for long since it had no apps. I was glad to see the app as I can see world’s best photographs anywhere. I can upload my latest work on the go when I have no laptop with me. But I have to admit that there is still room for improvement as sometimes app hangs. That’s really frustrating.
Home feed pretty erratic.
It indeed is a good place to post your photographs and get feedback on your work by other photographers. The images can be segmented according to the type of images and one’s interest, this is an advantage. Off late the home feed has become erratic. When one uploads the images sometimes these do not appear on the home feed. Another time the images do not appear according to chronological order. You get to see four week old pictures first then a picture that is two days old and then images appear repeatedly. We do hope the admin looks into this. By and large the site is satisfactory barring the problems mentioned above. May be something is wrong with the new version.
Many pictures of a same subject
Wish there were only selected few pictures, for example here, today, that is July First, there are many pictures of same interiors of a building.
It is quite tiring, to look at, with out any seeming purpose of putting so many similar pictures.
