Hi 99Acres team,

First of all thank you so much for getting me rental home which is utmost reasonable at prime location (very near to Guduvanchery bus stand ). I saved 20,000 INR security deposit and 1,300 INR/month rent by finding a best home. I could not see the home listed in 99acres in any other rental home service provider’s website and app. I got 13 suggestions from other apps, perhaps I got 30+ home suggestions best suited for me with very less price. You saved my wallet. Thanks

Worst experience

As i was searching for new house on this app, i tried contacting many broker. Next day i got a call from marketing team of 99acres that we will provide u best options without any brokerage. Please do not contact any brokers. I trusted them and did so. I told her all my requirements and she gave me list of all projects in construction. I asked her several times if it was in my budget. She assured me they were and assigned a sales guy to assist me in getting my required house as he had knowledge of all the projects.

First thing foremost, list of all the projects she gave me was completely out of my budget. Still she insisted me to come down to the location and she will be showing me some resale flates as well. Sales guy who came showed me an over budget project and then told me sorry i have no other projects of your budget. I do not understand then why did they ask me to come down there if they had no projects in my budget. Also the sales guy is telling me that online price that is added is just to attract people by marketing team. Actual price always differs. Such a useless this app is and a useless marketing and sales people sitting out there just to harass people. I finally contacted a broker where he showed me all the projects in my budget and also as per my requirement.

Please don’t be fooled by prices that are written on the website and also stay away from their marketing team who promise to give good service in no price.

Deterioration in service and standard

I had searched for properties in 99 acres and even though I had opted out of brokers contacting me, still I continuously received calls from brokers. The properties were repetitive and not up to the mark. Other housing sites had much better options, so I didn’t contact many from this site. Then I started receiving calls from 99 acres too. One particular girl called me on the evening of 13 th February. As I was busy and didn’t want to enter into any conversation with her, I said that I was not interested in the property and hung up. She then whatsapped me that why did I search for the property on her website and if I don’t have money then I shouldn’t search for properties. I told her that you cannot force me to buy, if I have searched for properties on your site. When I told her that I will take up the matter, she immediately deleted the chats but not before I had taken the screenshots. I wrote to 99 acres but they have not responded at all. So if you want to get hounded by them for just searching properties , ok with poor customer service and get poor options then you can go ahead. At one time, I considered it to be the best site, now it’s the worst.
