Unfortunately in our country , insurance companies know only how to receive premiums and they also know how to be extremely professional and polite when reminding clients of their premium due dates. They will make sure that dead line is met but when it comes to be courteous to clients during their tough times getting in and out of hospitals , they are as lousy as they were 30 years ago. The claim never comes and the poor patient has to keep waiting to be discharged and held hostage till they don’t get a clean chit from the hospital. With this service started , it is indeed the best service and need of the hour solution for people who are just looking to get relieved from the hospital. I applaud the founder and the entire staff who are top notch in their service and quest to make this a great experience for the clients. Super convenient and great initiative. The Aldun app has been extremely helpful and honestly a huge relief during a stressful hospital stay. Anyone who has dealt with insurance approvals knows how exhausting the back-and-forth between the hospital and the insurance company can be. What usually takes 6 hours or more was handled seamlessly, and the app saved me almost 7–8 hours at the hospital.The instant discharge feature is truly a game changer. The entire approval and settlement process was smooth, quick, and transparent, allowing us to focus on recovery instead of paperwork and waiting. This is a really good product, kudos to people who thought of this pain problem and decided to work on it.Few areas of improvement or pain areas that you folks could potentially look at.Sometimes the bottleneck is not the tech, but existing processes- For instance in my case , even after paying via aldun i was waiting for discharge summary, medicines to arrive etc which took a lot of time and it wasn’t like i made the payment and i could leave instantly.- ⁠there was a lot of back and forth that one has to deal with insurance desk and insurance company . Sometimes there is delay in intimating the insurance company or responding to their queries in adequate manner. I can’t believe this is still a manual process in the age of ai.- As a user i would be willing to pay a markup fee if there is a product that solves all of this. I think you guys are onto something here and i would definitely want to see this product succeed. All the best.One minor thing though, i felt the overall app experience could be more improved. I didn’t get the impression of a polished product with a lot of webviews thrown around. But honestly this is such a space where i would care little about UX and more about functionality.
