Description
Transport Department, Andhra Pradesh has launched Online Vehicle Check report module, which envisages a complete shift of motor vehicle enforcement operations from a primarily manual process to a technology-intensive process. Online VCR module is an integrated enforcement solution to enforce violations under Motor Vehicles act through mobile app (IOS) and back-end web application.This is an end to end automated system with digital interface for all the stakeholders.
Salient features of Vehicle check report Application:
1) offence-penalties masters. It gives no scope for corrupt practices
2) Portable Thermal printers made compatible to give vehicle check report print on the spot
3) Data base of vehicles , drivers and integration with VAHAN & SARADHI data bases of NIC, so that details will be popped up from authenticated sources.
4) Antecedents of offences record in data base against vehicle number and Driving License holder.
Penalties can be paid online by visiting https://aprtacitizen.epragathi.org and automatic release order of seized vehicle can be downloaded upon payment of penalties under MV Act 1988 and rules made there under.
