This Aruba UXI onboarding tool helps you troubleshoot your Aruba User Experience Insight (UXI) sensors and get them online quickly and easily. The app does not provide access to the dashboard, it creates a path for the sensor to the backend to fetch the sensor’s configuration enabling these tools:
This application helps you get your Aruba User Experience Insight (UXI) G-Series sensors online quickly and easily. The app does not provide access to the dashboard, it creates a path for the sensor to fetch its initial configuration so the sensor can communicate with the dashboard. This application features the following:

VIEW SENSORS NEARBY
See unconfigured sensors within Bluetooth range. View sensor information including signal strength.

TROUBLESHOOT
Diagnose issues preventing sensors from reaching Aruba cloud services via Ethernet or cellular. See network interface and connection information, issue details, and suggested fixes.

AUTO CONFIGURE
"Jumpstart" Ethernet connectivity.
Step one: set wired network configuration, including 802.1X credentials, certificates, and/or proxy settings on the UXI dashboard.
Step two: hold your app-enabled device near a sensor to automatically apply configuration via Bluetooth.

IDENTIFY
Pre-provisioning multiple sensors?
Identify a specific sensor from the app. Swipe, or tap “Identify” to change the sensor’s Status LED color.

PRIVATE & SECURE
Only your licensed sensors appear in the app. All communications between sensors and the app are encrypted.

Requires an Aruba User Experience Insight account. Supports G-Series sensor models including UX-G5E and UX-G5C.
