Eats a lot of battery?
Barbee is M1 compatible but still seems to eat a lot of battery power (according to activity monitor)

A pretty good attempt however buggy and missing a few features
I have a request for 2 features:
1. The 'hover on menu bar'to unhide icons is pretty handy, however I have to disable it as I use MediaMate which utilises my notch which involves me hovering over the notch. But now with the hover on notch to unhide enabled, media mate never shows up. I would really love the option to choose to exclude the notch from the part that activates hover on notch to unhide.
2. The default spacing in the notch is a bit too big but pretty, the 'normal sizing' part of Barbee is too similar, but the small gap is too small for me. If there was more of a slider to adjust the spacing between the icons would be amazing.
Apart from these, there are quite a few bugs. Is there a better forum to report bugs at? I would love to see this app improve
A few bugs if solved will make this perfect.
My courser keeps glitching because of this app. I keep 1-2 bar menu apps shown and the rest hidden and im sure this is whats causing the flickering issue. The app thinks im still dragging and droppig the latest icon.
2nd, the timer for the clicked app to be hidden again clicking away from the menu bar is broken. it still takes 15 seconds to go back to the hidden section.
3rd, There are menu bar apps that you can interact with by dragging and dropping items to them, would be great if you could do the same with the hidden apps. Like dragging a photo to the barbee toggle icon which shows the app or when you drag it to the menu bar, the hidden apps are shown and then you can drag it to a google drive app all in one action.
4th, when you have an app open from the hidden menu, the hidden menu overlaps the app as the hidden menu and the app menu both are being shown.
