Upgrade and lose viewers!!!!!
Ever since you have upgraded , am unable to open the app on my iPad Air with the software version 12.5.7. Apple doesn’t upgrade software of IPads like they do frequently for iphones. Perhaps their Sales strategy “They would like that newer IPads be bought.”
Be that as it may,request you arrange that we,with our iPads are able to view your excellent News service.
New app made user experience worse
Previously, you didn’t always have to tap “Continue without account” to use the app. You could select a word and use the Look Up feature of iOS to see the meaning of the word; now, you cannot do that either. Now, you cannot swipe right to go to the previous screen and must always tap the back button. All around, bad choices from a UX perspective. And, even from a UI perspective, the red and white theme was much better. Why bring changes just for the sake of changing instead of actual improvements? In the end, the experience of the app is much worse.
Issue with Weekly Quiz
Ever since this upgrade was launched, especially in iPhones, whenever the weekly quiz is opened, the app opens Safari and it simply stays there. We cannot go back to the app. When the back icon is clicked, the app simply cycles a couple of times and stays in the browser. I am not able to get back to the main app. The only remedy is to remove and reinstall the entire app. Please update the app.
