Works really well
I joined the Beeper waitlist approximately 2 years ago and finally got to use it. They seem to have cracked the longstanding issue of managing multiple conversation apps. This app functions smoothly for the most part, although I encountered a few bugs on Instagram where messages couldn't be sent. However, the issue was resolved by simply tapping the send button again. My only concern revolves around privacy. While they offer 2FA integration during login, I still receive random login notifications from different locations, which makes me feel a bit uneasy about security. Aside from that, overall, Beeper is a really good app.
Almost prefect
It's almost the best messaging app next to Microsoft sms organizer which is able to separate transactional and promotional messages from personal ones. If beeper could unclutter the sms/imessage part of messages, that would make this the perfect messaging app
It’s a godsend
I was a tad wary at first, but boy am I happy with beeper! I wanted to dump all the apps that I use for IM, and beeper acts as a good enough substitute. It’s lite. Does the essentials just fine. A hub for WhatsApp, signal and insta (amongst others- but I don’t use em)…
It’s kinda sad iMessage isn’t in it anymore, but hopefully apple being forced to add in RCS should fix that.
Overall, thanks for this app! I’m happy it exists. And thanks for keeping it free, and sticking to a very simplistic privacy policy on your website.
