Works well on metros, however BUS

This works excellent on Metro Transits. However, I have one concern. Does it work on BMTC buses? Since they do use Pine labs tools. The conductors need to be made aware about this card and that we can pay with it. I understand this is government backed so it should be possible. If it’s not supported on bus networks, please do let me know.

Can’t make payments via app

So I got this card recently and installed the app and tried to load ₹100 onto the card via the phone app. The app only has UPI payments as an option, but no upi payment portal options pop up when I press ‘make payment’. The app just says that I have to choose a upi option,but there are no options available…Seeing how many people seem to be facing issues with the card balance not updating or card being unuseable on metros and buses, I think I’m going to give this a skip until it’s more functional, which will probably take a year or longer. Eroica, a beautiful dream that couldn’t find fulfilment.

I’ve been facing repeated issues with the Bharat Yatra Card. Whenever I make an online payment, the balance does not update automatically. Every time, I have to manually hand over the card to a technician to get the balance updated. I even tried using the kiosk, but that doesn’t work either. Recently, I made a payment through PhonePe - the transaction was successful, but the amount never got credited to my card. This makes the card very inconvenient to use. Please fix the balance update process so that online transactions reflect correctly

Balance shows in app but card doesn’t work

I added ₹100 to my NCMC RuPay On-The-Go card using UPI. The amount was successfully debited, and the updated balance is clearly visible in the app.However, when I went to the metro station and tapped the card on the terminal to complete the top-up/update process, the system simply did not update the balance on the card. The terminal froze and the amount never reflected on the actual card, making it unusable for travel.The staff at the station also said something seemed wrong with the system. I contacted customer support, but instead of resolving the issue, they kept asking routine questions without offering a real solution. When I requested a refund for the failed update, it was refused.If the app shows the balance but the card cannot actually be used in the metro, the whole purpose is defeated. This is unreliable and frustrating, especially for something meant for daily transit use.
