Description
Birmingham Open Studios is an annual art trail event. Established in 2017 the event allows artists and craftspeople of all experience to display their craft from their own homes or working studios.
The public can view artists' work in the very space art is created in, offering visitors an insight into the artist’s lives and creative processes.
Public visits, purchases, praise and commissions give artists a reason to keep creating. Birmingham Open Studios means artists do not have to pay commission rates to galleries on sales, instead keeping the earnings themselves. Our ethos is to promote creativity in the area, with a focus on community cohesion.
We are growing annually, covering more of the city each year. This year we have expanded further north to include Handsworth and Erdington for the first time.
Free to visit and family-friendly.
