Carselona 4+

I have been using Carselona for few months now and after initial hickups I am satisfied with their work. Initially had issues with the cleaner they have assigned but since Anil Koiry has started cleaning the car, I am happy. He cleans the car pretty well. My dogs travel with me sometimes so there are dog hairs in the car so it take extra time to clean every week.

It is costlier than the local vendors for car cleaning. The expectation is that they provide professional service and the customer support, being a “corporate company”. In the first month itself, the service was not done on half of the days! The only thing they do is add coins to your account and say you can book a one-off cleaning service. What are the chances they will do those when they can’t do the regular scheduled ones. I did a mistake of renewing for another month giving them a chance to correct it. Same this in the very first week of the second month. Definitely cancelling the service/not renewing again.

The app is also bit clunky. The navigation is confusing, naming of the features is not very relevant. The chat functionality doesn’t have basic things like time stamps, same for the notifications. The carelessness is seen when they have spelling mistakes in the app. The chat input text field says “Write Replay”!?

Despite the reviews on Google, I was tempted to opt for their service because of the ability to save water. Little did I know this would be an absolute waste of time and money and a complete nightmare. The cleaner wants a car that is already clean. Quite bluntly told me my car was too dusty. I have to park it on the road and it does get dusty which is why I opted for the alternate day cleaning. Why pray tell would I opt for a cleaning service every other day of my car was already clean? Arrogant cleaners to top it all. Interior cleaning was a joke. My paraplegic grandma would have done a better job. A bland show of vacuuming. No removing floor mats. Imagine my horror when they didn’t even bother to use a simple cloth to clean the dashboard, screen and steering. It was left as it was before the cleaning. Forget polishing. DO NOT waste your time and money on this. I’m also considering complaining to the consumer forum.
