Cent Mobile is Mobile Banking application offered by Central Bank of India. Users can access most of the banking services anywhere any time through internet enabled handsets. Pre login features are accessible to all without registration. Post login features can be accessed by customers of Central Bank of India after completing one time registration process.

Cent Mobile Registration Process:
Download and install new Cent Mobile Application. Launch the app and use option- New User Registration. User will receive OTP (One Time Password) through SMS on registered mobile number after submitting CIF Number. After successful validation, register it – Using Debit Card information or Internet Banking User ID & Password or through ATM or Branch. Set your preferred User ID, MPIN (Login Password) and TPIN (Transaction password) for Cent Mobile. After successful registration process, Login to use enhanced features.

Not Thoughful! Royal waste of Time!

Just like their government office, slack has seeped into their app.
They have a provision of transaction password, App says txn password should be between 8-10 characters and must not include special characters. Internet Banking specifies special character must be included. Oh my god! This is basic stuff to keep interaction consistent across platforms. I could not transfer money to my ppf account because of this horrendous stupidity by the PM, Devs and QA.
The email field is restricted to 14 characters, as if there cannot be email address beyond that.
Guys, you are representing a 100 year old PSU bank. Atleast, don't damage the bank's customer experience by your incompetence.
You have made this far, please optimise the basic essential user flows. We the customers of CBI deserve atleast this much.

Revised version

The latest iOS version is, which is updated by me is causing lot of inconvenience. Version 6.1 was better and user friendly.
Even after updating it is saying unable to connect to server. Please install latest Spl and try again. This is error message I am getting after updating to version 6.2.

Crap App

When you add a beneficiary for bank transfer, it shows Email id as option field. Then why doesn’t it allow to proceed without adding an email on click of Submit? Basic carelessness from the developer!

Also, when you add the beneficiary, click Submit - the screen goes off as if nothing happened. No message to user saying actually the beneficiary was added or not. In fact it does not show the beneficiary in the drop down list. Pretty bad app.
