Clyx lets you find the friends you need to enjoy nights out, find a gym buddy that goes to the same gym, get a last-minute friend for coffee, and meet other friends with similar interests. Check out what events are happening in your city and meet people going; whether you want to find new venues and events for your friends or meet new people and friends - you're in the right place.

Jump in and find an event to join, or say what you want to do! Hit the + button on the main screen and see who wants to join you from our community! Yeah, we know it's terrifying. But so is not having friends, this is better.

GROW YOUR GROUP
• The more you share, the more you grow your team.
Share what you and your friends want to do and see who else can bring the energy. We're an open platform, but if you want to choose who can attend, you can easily control who can see and join any event when you create it.

FIND EVENTS
• Use our inspiration page to find events we've curated in your city
We pick and find the best events from our cities' venues and creators, join with friends, or make new ones at the event. Whether it’s coffee or clubbing, we help you find, join, and organize these in your calendar. We also work with venues to bring discounts and rewards when attending events.

JOIN COMMUNITIES
• There's a group of friends for everyone
Communities let you meet new friends who love the same events as you. Use the main chatroom to see what everyone is doing today or the events page to see what the community has planned.

Q&A

Q: I want to make friends on Clyx; what should I do?
A: Here are our top tips to make this work for you:

1) Complete your profile - upload pictures and show off your interests. Meeting people can be hard, but having a complete profile makes everyone feel more comfortable
2) Join some events - Join 1, join 3, join all of them! See what you love and say hi in the chat!
3) Share what you want to do - Everyone loves a leader; help the community by letting them know what you want... and be selfish. There's someone on clyx who wants to do the same thing as you - it's our job to find them!

Q: What do I do if I think someone isn't being nice or is breaking the rules?
A: Report them by tapping their profile - we'll help!

Q: How do I create private events that only certain groups can see?
A: When you press the + to create, press the details button and then privacy to open up privacy settings. We also have the access settings next door that will help you choose if people can join with or without you letting them in.

Q: I'm in LA/New York/Melbourne/Manchester; when are you launching here
A: We love you and will be there as soon as possible. Good things come to those who wait ;)
