Good but sometimes doesn’t connect
It is a good product , however, in countries like UAE it just doesn’t allow you to login unless u use another vpn just to login. Also many times i have faced the issue where in it says unable to connect api connection fails.
Great app with glitches
Firstly the service and app (on Mac pc and phone) are well designed and almost intuitive.
But then you face some glitches which are weird and breaks the promises.
1. When we setup “always connect” option for a particular Wi-Fi I observe that there are times when my vpn is not connected and I am surfing unsecured without any pop up or call to action. This is dangerous if I am secured by vpn only partially. I see a kill switch in Mac OS app where the connections are blocked due to disconnect. Something similar should be for mobile. Or at least alert.
2. I have year long subscription but I keep getting upgrade to premium pop up on my phone. This also means I am not connected to vpn anymore. This is simply irritating. I have to kill app and open again (sometimes more than once. )
Works fine but sometimes lags
In some of the occasions it works fine but quite often takes time to get logged in to the desired website or platform used in the home country may be due to security
