Digi Yatra 4+

Great experience

I travelled with DigiYatra on Feb 1st at Bangalore airport . I was delayed for my travel , but thanks to DigiYatra I just managed the airport entry and security clearance in a breeze. I was sceptical whether I shd try it due to my delay but to my pleasant surprise there were many helping hands at the airport to remove any inconvenience passengers may have. Pretty good experience . Travellers please try this app it is a simple store and share your boarding pass before entry , giving you a pleasant experience and hassle free entry and security clearance . If I have to say some thing I will request airline boarding can be integrated too it will be great. Thanks to civil aviation this is great!

Need improvement but good initiative

1. Barcode uploading is an issue. You have to try many times to get barcode to be read by app. Despite of completing the whole process, you have to scan your barcode from your ticket to get the door open for entry in Airport. Then what is the use of app and whole process. It would be great if you don’t need your ticket for entry in Airport. Your face should be your ID. 2. Airlines counter still don’t operate with Digi Yatra. You have to show your ID. You have to carry your boarding pass along with you. I had to show my boarding pass three times to Airline. It create confusion. It is better to go with you boarding pass despite digi yatra. 3.There should not be a need of a separate app. The Digi yatra option should be available in Digi locker app. Eventually, App interface need to be interactive and simple but it is a good initiative towards digital India.

Upload problems

Upload option doesn’t work properly and scan option works only after you save boarding pass in photos so that you can scan. But after boarding pass is scanned, it has to be shared and it doesn’t work ☹️

Lot needs to be improved. But the way Indians are adopting digital stuff, I am sure this can be a big hit

Dear Prasad,
In the latest release please check if boarding pass is available on the home screen of the App. If yes, it would have already been shared.
Please update to the latest version 2.0.2. It should work.
If you still face issues, request you to do the following to delete the 'cache'
You need to go to Settings --> General settings --> iPhone storage --> search or scroll down to Digi Yatra app --> choose offload app. This should help.
